Turks' pitcher Sean Jarrett tossed a no-hitter in a 3-0 win over Waynesboro on Sunday.

Harrisonburg right-hander Sean Jarrett pitched a no-hitter on Sunday, July 24 in the Turks’ 3-0 shutout of Waynesboro in Valley Baseball League action at Harrisonburg’s Veterans' Memorial Stadium.

Jarrett, a 6’5” hurler from Limon, Colo., faced just three batters over the minimum in his nine-inning effort with all three reaching via errors.  The University of Arizona product struck out 11 and did not issue any walks.  He improved his season record to 4-1 and now has a 2.31 ERA with 31 strikeouts and 11 walks in 39 innings on the mound.
