WAYNESBORO RANKED TENTH IN COUNTRY


The Waynesboro Generals were ranked tenth in the country by PGCrosschecker.com in this week's Summer 16 Power Rankings.  The Generals, who came into today with a 23-8 record, hold a half-game lead over second-place Harrisonburg.

Specifically mentioned in the rankings were Elon C Pat Irvine who is hitting .326 with 3 home runs and 20 RBIs and Butler pitcher John Dages, who is 5-0 with a 1.23 ERA.

The rankings are open to all teams that participate in college summer league baseball.  The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod League were ranked first in this week's rankings.
