Front Royal 3, Waynesboro 1

Steve McQuail keeps Front Royal undefeated by hitting a walk-off two-run HR in the bottom of the ninth. 

Tyler Almond pitched 5.0 complete innings for the Generals and allowed only one run and struck out six. Chris Enourato tied the game for the visitors with a single to right in the top of the ninth.

Staunton 17, Winchester 12

Staunton rallied from a 9-5 deficit after three innings to defeat Winchester, 17-12, late Tuesday night. The Braves improved to 3-0 while Winchester dropped to 1-2.

Chris Clinton was 4-for-6 and Kyle Mahoney was 3-for-4. Blake McDade and Todd Brazeal each homered for Staunton and each drove in three runs.

Michael Vargas and Aaron Dudley each homered for Winchester.
