Harrisonburg 7, Waynesboro 0

Behind the bats of Jack Posey and Bobby Brown, Harrisonburg shuts out South Division opponent 7-0. Posey and Brown each had two hits and two runs scored in the victory while Ali Simpson strikes out five in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound.

Front Royal 8, Covington 5

Scott McQuail hit a three-run homer, his eighth of the year, to lead Front Royal past Covington. Kevin Krantz added three hits for the Cardinals, while Robert Nixon struck out five in six innings of work.

Sherman Johnson had four hits and drove in three runs for Covington.

Luray 5, Woodstock 4, 12 innings.

CJ Lauriello had a walkoff single in the 12th to score Tyler Engle from third and give Luray the comeback win over Woodstock. The River Bandits scored a run in the top of the 12th to take a 4-3 lead, but Alex Haitsuka led off the bottom of the 12th with his second solo home run of the night to knot the score.

Rockbridge 13 Winchester 11

Rockbridge collected its first home win in team history, plating two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning for a 13-11 victory over Winchester.  A.J. Talt was the winner with two innings of relief and Alan Watts earned his second save for the Rapids.  Brian DeLucia had four hits and four RBIs for the Rapids.

Staunton 5, Haymarket 2

A three-run home run by Todd Brazeal keyed a four-run sixth for Staunton in its victory at Haymarket.                                              

Greg Hopkins, the leading hitter in the Valley, continued his hot streak with a 4 for 5 night for the Senators.

Fauquier 6, New Market 1

Kyle Putnam held the Rebels to one run on two hits in 7.0 innings to help Fauquier to a 6-1 win over New Market. Putnam struck out seven in his outing and the Gators got three hits from Jordan Erisman.
