Winchester 4, Front Royal 0
Winchester won its 11th straight game Wednesday night with a 4-0 victory at Front Royal. Steven Rivera scattered three hits and struck out seven in the complete game performance.
Jordan Steranka was 3 for 4 with an RBI for the Royals while Jesse Henry had two hits for the Cards.
Staunton 7, Waynesboro 3
Blake McDade and Anthony Porter each had three hits, with the latter driving in three and stealing a base, to lead Staunton over Waynesboro.
Cory Kovanda was 2 for 4 for the Generals.
Covington 8, Rockbridge 7
Lammar Guy posted team-highs with three hits, including his first home run of the season, and three runs to lead the Lumberjacks over Rockbridge.
Scott Colton drove in three runs for the Rapids, connecting for his third home run in as many days.
Haymarket 7, Fauquier 1
Scott Van Dusseldorp was 3 for 5 with a pair of runs batted in to lead the Senators over Fauquier. Andrew Lawrence and Sam Greenberg each had two hits to back up Van Dusseldorp.
Kevin Deese paced the Gators with three hits.
