Home Run Derby Announced

STAUNTON, Va. – The Valley League announced Thursday its participants in the 2010 Home Run Derby as part of the league’s annual All-Star game.

The 2010 all-star game will be played this coming Sunday, July 11, on Eagle Field on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg.

The top 10 home run hitters in the league as of July 8 were all selected to participate in the contest with the top five finishers in the contest then moving on to represent the league in the second-ever All-Star game against the Cal Ripken All-Stars on Wednesday.
