STRASBURG, Va. – Help the Express with its ballpark!

The Strasburg Express VBL baseball team, set to begin play in 2011, and Strasburg High School need your help to improve their facility.

Pepsi Bottling Company, as part of its community service initiatives, awards grants up to $250,000 each month to people, business and non-profits making a positive impact in their community.

Pepsi determines grant winners by placing them on its project website,  www.refresheverything.com, and having visitors vote up to once a day per computer for their favorite community project.

The Strasburg Express Community Baseball group was recently approved as one of the projects eligible for vote beginning September 1.

Voting lasts through the end of September.

If awarded, the Express plans new lights and dugouts at the field they will share with Strasburg High School. The school will retain all ownership of the improved facility.
