A three-run fifth gave host Waynesboro a 6-1 lead and the Generals held on to double up Staunton. Jared King drove in two runs and three others had two hits each for the victors.

Steve Scoby was 2 for 3 for the Braves.

Woodstock 1, Winchester 0

Oscar Almeida pitched a complete game shutout giving up just three hits and three walks for the River Bandits. Zach Tobolowsky went 1 for 3 with a base on balls and had the game winning RBI offensively.

Dustin Ward was nearly as perfect on the mound for Winchester, allowing just one run on three hits and four walks in 7.0 innings.
