There was plenty of offense tonight in a 10-6 Winchester victory
at Harrisonburg. Ian MacGeorge led five Royals with multiple
hits by going 3 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Connor Winn and Scott Dalrymple both had three hits each for the Turks.
Woodstock 2, New Market 1
Visiting Woodstock scores the winning run in the seventh to down New Market 2-1.
Karl Johnston and Mike Garza have three hits apiece for the victors with Kenny Mickens doing the same for the Rebels.
JD Ingalls earns the win with 1 1/3 innings of relief work.
Staunton 8, Front Royal 3
Staunton scored six runs in the fourth inning Saturday night to take an 8-0 lead and went on to defeat Front Royal 8-3.
Steve Scoby was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and Rafael Carlot was 2-for-4 with one RBI to lead the Braves offense.
Drew Gadaire and Blake Boyce had two hits each for the Cards.
Waynesboro 9, Haymarket 3
Visiting Waynesboro pushes itself over the .500 mark with a 9-3 victory over league-leading Haymarket.
The Generals trailed 3-0 after four innings but rallied with four runs in fifth, one in the sixth and four more in the ninth.
Andrew Tourcy paced the victors with four hits and Cody Hudson drove in three.
