Waynesboro 7, Luray 5

Taylor Sandefur struck out eight and allowed two earned runs on two hits in 7.0 innings to help Waynesboro to a 7-5 victory over Luray.

Sandefur is now 6-0 on the summer.

Cody Hudson, Grant Fillipitch, and Colin Harrington each had three hits for the Generals with Jonathan Clinard adding two hits and three RBI.

Nick Rickles, Michael Broad, and Jonathan Murphy all had one hit each for the Wranglers.

Rockbridge 9, Front Royal 5

Andy Smithmeyer allowed three runs on six hits in 6 1/3 innings as Rockbridge downed Front Royal 9-5.

William Smalls was 4 for 5 with 3 RBI for the Rapids and Matt Holland 3 for 5 with 3 RBI for the Cards.

Woodstock 5, Harrisonburg 4 (10 inn)

Karl Johnston knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th to give Woodstock a 5-4 victory over Harrisonburg.  Derek Vigoa, who was 3 for 5 at the plate with a two-run double, pitched the final two innings to earn the win on the mound. 

Zack Tobolowsky was 3 for 4 with a run scored and two stolen bases to lead the 'Bandits at the plate.

Joe Huber had a two-run triple for the Turks.
