Haymarket 6, Luray 5

Host Haymarket scored all six of its runs in the first three innings, including four in the second, to down Luray 6-5.

The Wranglers kept things close by scoring one run in each of their first four at-bats, but could not get the equalizer after scoring a final run in the eighth.

Alex Haitsuka drove in two for Luray while Rudy Flores was 2 for 4 with three RBI for the Senators.

Woodstock 7, Covington 2

Ben Paullus pitched a strong six innings to pick up his second win of the young season striking out eight Lumberjacks.  Devon Conley, playing in his first game of the year, went 3 for 4 with a triple, scored two runs, knocked in one and stole a base.  Foster Dunnigan went 2 for 4 with a double, 2 RBI and scored a run. 

Troy Barton took the loss for Covington, who also got two hits from Giuseppe Papaccio.
